Thankful Thursday
Sorry I've been MIA lately. We have been busy busy! Ryan had class all last weekend, Liam had a little cold, I had a horrible cold, I've been working like crazy and trying to plan for our first birthday party! So, without further ado...
I am thankful for:
A dog that cleans up spit-up faster than I can, I know that's gross.
Living room baricades. Our open floor plan makes it really hard to contain our crazy-on-the-go baby. This doesn't really contain him, but slows him down. :)
Instant soup! These are gluten free and quick to make, I lives on them last week when I was sick.
Liam's favorite game: pulling things out of a bag or box. He is entertained for entire minutes at a time!
Tiny feet in tiny boots.

Swinging Saturday!
I had a lovely little three day weekend with my boys! I cannot tell you how much I needed to just rest and spend time with them!
On Saturday, we took Liam to our favorite park for popcicles and to swing for the first time ever!
This little baby loved the swings! He laughed and squealed the whole time, so precious!
We only played for a little while so we could get Liam home for his nap, he excited to go down the slides next time!

I cannot believe how quickly five years has passed. I am blessed beyond measure to have this man to share life with, he makes every day incredible. Our life together has never been easy or without trials, we have weathered a lot of storms together; and I wouldn't trade a single day. I cannot wait to see how the next 5, 10, 20 years play out. Love you forever, and ever, amen.

11 Months Old!
Dear Wiggs,
You have had such a busy month! You mastered crawling, started standing, flew on your first airplane ride, met all of your Colorado family, and got the chicken pox! Wheeew, we are worn out!
You weigh 21 pounds (35th%) and are 29 inches long (50th%). You didn't really gain any weight this month because you have been moving all the time! You are wearing mostly 9-12 month clothing and size 3 disposable diapers (when traveling). You had another tooth come in, so you are up to 2 little pearly whites, both on the bottom!
Even while very sick, you have continued to love food! You will eat anything we give you and fuss at us when we don't offer our food to you! You are eating three meals of solids and nursing (or drinking a sippy cup of breast milk) four times a day. You tried watermelon and grapefruit sorbet while we were in Colorado and loved them both!
You are such a great sleeper, even while traveling and sick! You average 11-13 hours of sleep each night and are still taking two 1-2 hour naps each day. You are flexible for a day or so, but if we miss too many naps or stay out too late we definitely notice a difference in your mood.
You are very observant and laid back. You love to watch people and try to figure out how things work. You have a really great attention span and will watch entire Baby Einstein and Yo Gabba Gabba videos.
Liam bird, you are such a sweet baby! Your personality is just delightful. You love to play and laugh and you are entirely doted on by your parents! As always, we are incredibly blessed to be your parents and to receive your snuggles and smiles!
